Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Location Options: Grand Forks, Fargo, Bismarck, ND

AE2S is excited to welcome an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to our accounting team. This is an entry-level opportunity, ideal for someone who wants to start their career in accounting, learn foundational accounts receivable skills, and grow within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities 

You’ll be trained and supported as you learn core accounts receivable functions, including:

• Set up new projects in the accounting system and validate billing terms against contract requirements.
• Upload or enter billing-related usage information in accounting system.
• Prepare and distribute routine customer invoices and statements.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests related to invoices, customer accounts, and accounts receivable records.
• Communicate with clients regarding billing and invoice questions, without high-volume collection.
• Complete vendor applications as requested by clients.
• Communicate clearly with internal team members to support accounting workflows.
• Follow established processes with guidance and direction.

Basic Requirements

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work well with others.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Preferred Requirements

• Associate degree or related job experience specializing in accounting or related field.

Physical Requirements

• Primary functions require physical ability and sufficient mobility to work in an office setting
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
• Occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist
• Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight
• Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement
• Fine coordination including the use of a computer keyboard
• May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds
• May require occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload
• May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town
